		<description>I&#039;d start with step 3 - no point making them wait while you back everything up only for them to find out the upgrade will break some of their plugins and they don&#039;t want to continue.

I&#039;d then run steps 1 and 2 in parallel with the download in step 4 if possible to minimize the time - they are suitably independent as long as you split the extract stage out to a new step after that.

Sounds good though!
